Our Turbine Flow Meter is offered at market friendly rates. Turbine flowmeters are units designed to be precise and reliable, and can be used in many applications. VTR flow-meters can be installed even under the harshest application conditions in the oil, petrochemical and the, chemical industries as well as in other industry sectors. The range of nominal widths spans from 10mm to 500mm for the flanged version and from 10mm to 50mm for the version with threaded connection. All flowmeters in the VTR series are individually calibrated. A wide selection of electronic processing and indicator units are available. Functioning Principle Basically, the VTR consists of a rotor, the housing and the measurement pick-up. The flow of fluid sets the rotor in to motion. When the rotor blades interrupt the magnetic field lines of the pick-p, the motion of the rotor is detected. Because of the specific inner diameter, the turbine's revolutions are directly proportional to the flow. The turbine revolution is detected using an external sensor. The output signal is a flow-proportional frequency(pulse form). Further processing of the signal can follow using a separate processing and indicator unit.
