Travelling Microscope - Cast Iron Base, 165mm Horizontal & 120mm Vertical Graduated Scales, Achromatic Objective 0.75mm, Ramsden 10x Eyepiece With Cross Hair, Adjustable Carriages With Fine Focusing Knob

Our provided Travelling Microscope has calibrated movement in Horizontal and Vertical direction. The cast-iron heavy base has three levelling foot screws, one being fixed. The base Vee-top surface is machined to take a kinetically horizontal carriage, which supports vertical column. The carriage has vernier and a magnifier for reading.

The main body has 1/2mm x 165mm graduated horizontal scale.

The vertical column has 1/2mm x 120mm graduated vertical scale, which take kinetically mounted carriage which is mounted the microscope. The microscope can be fitted to either side of the vertical column to suit the usera s preference, and can be set to the horizontal or vertical. The carriage has vernier and reading magnifier.

Both carriages have locking screws, releasing which enables free manual movement of the carriages. Fine adjustment is by means of the fine screw thread with large dia knurled head at the end of each side. The working plateform fitted with white Perspex Milky sheet.

Microscope : Main tube has a side arm which attached to the vertical carriage and fitted with Objective, eyepiece and cross hair / cross graticule, microscope have rack & pinion fine focusing large dia knob and can be set vertically or horizontally.

Objective : Achromatic high resolution FL.75mm.
Eye piece : Ramsden 10x with cross hair.
