Tranexamic Acid Injection BP is a sterile injectable preparation containing Tranexamic Acid, a synthetic lysine analogue with antifibrinolytic activity. It works by inhibiting the activation of plasminogen to plasmin, thereby preventing the breakdown of fibrin clots and helping to stabilize formed blood clots, which reduces excessive bleeding.

Tranexamic Acid Injection is used for the prevention and treatment of bleeding associated with increased fibrinolysis, including bleeding during or after surgical procedures, trauma, and other conditions where control of hemorrhage is required.
