Types of Towel Forceps
Perforating Towel Forceps: These have sharp points and are used for grasping tissue, securing towels or drapes, and holding or reducing small bone fractures. Examples include the Backhaus towel clamp, which is commonly used.
Non-perforating Towel Forceps: These have a wide, blunt tip and are used to secure drapes without penetrating the material. Examples include Lorna clamp, Ball & Socket clamp, and Hoff clamp.
