PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS
Lidocaine 2.5% + Prilocaine 2.5% cream works by temporarily blocking the pathway of pain signals along nerves. Lidocaine 2.5% + Prilocaine 2.5% cream does this by stopping the sodium entering the nerve ending at the site of pain. This prevents an electrical signal building up and passing along the nerve fibers to the pain
Pharmacokinetic: Lidocaine 2.5% + Prilocaine 2.5% may be absorbed following topical administration to mucous members, its rate and extent of absorption depending upon the specific site of application, duration of exposure, concentration and total dosage
