Switchboards are the nerve centres of electrical distribution systems. Be it steel sugar textile automobile or any industry. Dhandapani switchboards offer a high degree of flexibility economy & operational convenience. The Switchboards are fabricated out of cold rolled sheet steel. The front and rear doors fitted with neoprene gaskets and fasteners ensure that the equipment is dust free. A front frame structure of folded sheet rigidly bolted together houses other components such as circuit breakers sub cubiucles main horizontal bus bars & other accessories. The Bus Bars are made of high conductivity aluminium alloy (Grade E91E as per IS:5082) of qdequate cross section to ensure low operating temperatures. All Dhandapani Switchboards are suitable for maximum operating temperatures upto 110 degree C. Busbars suitable for operating at higher ambients / lowoperating temperatures can also be offerred.
The Switchboards are provided with adequate depth for cabling & termination and are also extendable for future increased loads. Switchboards are available with various degrees of ingress protection (IP 42 54 etc..)
