We have a rich expertise in manufacturing valves with Surface Treatment Valves. A hard layer of chromium gets deposited on the stem through an electromechanical process. The thickness of this layer depends on the level of the piece stress. The Tufftride/Nitride process increases the exhaustion strength and resistance to corrosion and wear & tear. The layer reduces the friction between the stem and the valve guide and store lubricating oils in its small wall cracks. This results in smoother functioning and lift of the valve guide and stem.
