Spherical Roller Bearings - Alloy Steel, 1.378" To 71.6535" Od | Self-aligning, Heavy Radial Loads, High-speed Performance

Spherical roller bearings are self-aligning bearings designed for heavy radial loading. They automatically compensate for large angular errors (shaft misalignments).
Small Type C bearings are widely applicable for small size machines and are suited for both radial and axial loads.
Standard Type B bearings provide ideal contact pressure under radial or combined radial and axial loads, and perform well under high speeds.
Type UA bearings are designed to provide increased life and are ideally suited for heavy, shock or vibratory types of radial loading (i.e. Shaker screens).
Available with cylindrical or tapered bores. Sized from 1.378a (35 mm) inside diameter to 71.6535a (1820 mm) outside diameter.
Spherical bearings are designed to manage high radial loads even when misalignment, poor lubrication, contamination, extreme speeds or critical application stresses are present.
Most spherical roller bearings are made of alloy steels or low-carbon steels. Chrome-plated products are also available. Some applications require the use of case-hardened or thorough-hardened, high-carbon, bearing-quality steel. High-carbon grades of steel do not require carburizing and can be case-hardened by induction heating or thorough-hardened by conventional heating methods. When low-carbon, carburized grades of steel are used, carbon is introduced after the spherical roller bearings are machined to a depth sufficient to produce a hardened case that can sustain bearing loads.
