Space Frame System

The Space Frame System has great structural strength as well as aesthetically pleasing features.
The system consist of tubular members ,solid spherical node connectors with specially designed bolted props.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN:-
Grid type a Basically various grid system can be accommodated in single or multiple deck arrangement. Few of them are as follows;
a) A pyramid on a square grid.
b) A pyramid on a rectangular grid.
c) A Triangular pyramid on a triangular grid.
Above patterns are standard but various other patterns are also possible.

APPLICATIONS OF SPACE FRAMES.
Because of its feasibility in the connections, various geometrical shapes are possible.
The space frames are generally used for following structures.
a a long span industrial sheds.
b a stadiums c- Atrium skylight structures. d a Cantilever canopies
e a Toll plaza F a Car parking places. g a Bus shelters h a Walkway coverings

1- Long span area can covered with space frame.
2- Maximum column free area can achieved.
3- Because of its three dimensional system less consumption of steel can be achieved as compare to conventional truss system.
4- Pre- fabricated single members ,so powder coating or any pre surfaces treatment is possible.
5- manually handling becomes easier which reduces the assembly and erection period.
