Lapsi Faada is a grain made from wheat.It is made by grinding wheat with some special process in which it is grinded partly. Lapsi Faada is Sweet dish, the other type of lapsi is also known as Kansar. In Gujarat and many part of India, it is made during marriages or holy functions. Lapsi or Fada Lapsi as it is called in Western India is also known as Dalia[Daliya]. It is essentially a porridge made of bulgar wheat and jaggery to mark auspicious ocassions in the Gujarati Community. Try giving this to your kids with cold milk instead of cereal for breakfast for a change.
