Recommended Use: Applied on doors, windows, wall paneling, false ceilings, fiber board tiles to render them fire resistant to class 1 surface spread of flame as per BS-476 part 7.

If exceeds, the surface should be roughened by emery scuffing

Resistance Guide:
Fire: Meets the requirements of BS-476 part 6 & 7, IS-163 and ASTM 1360
Acid: No effect ( 5 % HCl )
Alkali: No effect ( 5 % NaOH )
Water: No effect ( 40 degree C 7 days )
Termite: 1 coat of FR Primer AK 402 and 2 coats of AK-411 on termite affected area kills all the termites

Surface Preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly of dust and water before applying FR primer and paint.

Take precautions to avoid skin and eye contact (i.e. gloves, goggles, face masks, barrier creams etc.) Actual safety measures are dependent on application methods and work environment. This is a solvent based paint and care should be taken to avoid inhalation of spray mist or vapor as well as contact between the wet paint and exposed skin or eyes.
