The kit consists of a plastic molded platform dowels and PVC hollow ball of two different diameters on the top side of the platform, holes are made at the vertical and center of square on the bottom side, holes are made at the vertical  and center of regular hexagons. Note that these hoes show the positions of aloms in a unit cell. These  hole can receive friction fitting dowels, which are pointed for easier insertion into the balls. Various simple, giant models and a number of crystal structures can be clearly visualized and understood through this kit. It is accompanied by a manual to help the user learn basic concept of solid state structure.
