1. Unfiltered slurry is pumped to the overflow trough located at the top of DSM screen.
2. A slurry slides on to the surface of the DSM screen (Welded Wedge Wire type)slurry gets filtered and falls to the collection tank located behind the screen, whereas solids remain on the surface of the screen, and due to its angular orientation as shown in picture above solids naturally slide down by its own weight.
3. The solids which fall to the bottom of the screen can be collected In a hopper and be conveyed further with the help of a screw conveyor.
4. DSM Screen is made of Tilted wedge wire construction which aids the efficient separation of solids from the liquid.
5. DSM screens can also be provided with Internal Showers with Spray Nozzles ,Oscillating / Tilting arrangements for liquids with stickies.
