High Speed Composting. Solar Compost Cooker utilizes solar heating and solar chimney ventilation principles to speed up composting. Aerobic Bacteria, which is primarily responsible for composting, thrives well in the Hot, Humid and well ventilated condition. This results in naturally high speed composting without the use of any external source of energy.
Absolutely No Bad Odor.
Aerobic Composting always result in odor free compost. Carbohydrates available in the wet kitchen waste are naturally decomposed to Water, Carbon dioxide and Compost rich in Nitrogen. None of these ingredients have any odor. Any bad odor is a sign of incomplete aerobic composting.
Occupies very Little Space. Solar Compost cooker is designed to fit in tiny space as little as Four square feet. This composter utilizes vertical space effectively to create three months of compost storage. Yet it is ergonomically designed to drop wet kitchen waste at convenient height.
