No loss of accuracy
Conventional probing solutions rely on a 6DOF tracker-mounted camera, which visually identifies the orientation of the probe depending on the respective measurement distance. In this type of system, moving the probe farther away from the tracker will result in a smaller, less accurate image on the camera sensor. The IntelliProbe 360^TM Wireless does not require a camera system, avoiding the biggest source of photogrammetry error: the loss of accuracy with distance.

The positional data of the IntelliProbe 360^TM Wireless is determined within the sensor itself-- no need for a tracker-side camera system.
