Optical error sources that increase with distance are a thing of the past. This is hand-held, light-weight, high-accuracy probing made easy.

No loss of accuracy
Conventional probing solutions rely on a 6DOF tracker-mounted camera, which visually identifies the orientation of the probe depending on the respective measurement distance. In this type of system, moving the probe farther away from the tracker will result in a smaller, less accurate image on the camera sensor. The IntelliProbe 360^TM Wireless does not require a camera system, avoiding the biggest source of photogrammetry error: the loss of accuracy with distance.

6DOF. Determined on the spot
Why waste money on costly zoom lenses if there is a better solution? The positional data of the IntelliProbe 360^TM Wireless is determined within the sensor itself-- no need for a tracker-side camera system. Together with the Tracker3^TM, the IntelliProbe 360^TM Wireless provides 6DOF information with continuous accuracy. The positional data is always accurate, regardless of the measuring distance.

More freedom
Camera-based systems are limited to a vertical probe orientation because of the restricted viewing angle. But not the Intelliprobe 360^TM Wireless, which features an easy to handle horizontal and vertical probe, providing one more axis and a longer stand-off distance.
