By pressure and shear the crushing of the feed material takes place in the single roll crusher and in a wedge shaped crushing zone. The area of crushing is formed by the rotating roll and the adjustable spring loaded breaker. The gap at the side between the combs of the breaker plate and roll-tips is adjustable on the discharge. The finished product is decided by the gap setting, tooth configuration, surface speed& spring load. Alloy steel of special graded are used to manufacture the main shaft that gives high tensile strength. The breaker plate is fitted on a heavy hinge pin attached to a roller crusher whose lower end is supported by special device. However the position of the roller crushers can be altered.
