Single Cum Reverse Phasing Preventor(auto/ Mannul)

Unbalanced supply or Single Phasing results in current increase and double frequency currents in the rotor, which causes over heating and ultimately burn the motor windings.

Absence of one phase, while starting the motor causes it to draw a very heavy current, which burn the motor winding in no time.

Reverse Phase Sequence results in reverse running of the motor, which endagers the machine connected to it.

SINGLE PHASING-CUM-REVERSE PHASING PREVENTOR Provides protection against all the above cases, whether they are caused due to fuse failure, loose connections or loss of phase from the supply itself. The thermal over load relay provided with motor starters does not give protection in any of the above cases.

Description It is a small and compact unit based on the latest electronic devices. It monitors the negative sequence voltages in a three phase supply and actuates an electromagnetic relay when it is beyond the set limit. The voltage unbalance and the trip time delay are adjustable from 2 to 10% and 1 to 10 seconds. Input supply and relay ON conditions are indicated by two LED's provided on top of unit.
