Utilising the same multi functional platform as ARI's other crane simulator products, the Ship Crane Simulator can be configured to offer superb fidelity simulations of a vast range of different cranes installed on vessels and barges. From geared dry cargo vessels, to multifunctional project cargo vessels with pedestal or rail cranes; from ringer cranes on construction barges and vessels to active heave compensated cranes and lifting devices.
The customisable framework supports the development of complete customised crane models as well, and also including adaptations of cranes for specialized lifts such as offshore wind turbine installation projects. The crane simulator is available in a variety of configurations from single user desktop systems, to classroom based systems and right up to full mission installation comprising one or more replica crane cabs with full hot swappable control panels, an instructor station (equipped with CCTV and stealth view) and full debriefing facilities. Multiple crane simulators can be applied in single missions, covering - for example - tandem lifts. Additionally, these can be availed from us at reasonable price.
