Shear Pin Gear Coupling

Shear pin gear couplings are primarily used to limit transmitted torque to a predetermined load. These couplings are especially designed to protect equipment when jams occur. The components are re-usable after pins shear. Our precision engineered couplings will retain lubricant for a short period to allow equipment to be shut down. We can also offer custom made shear pin gear couplings based on the specifications provided by the clients.
