This machine has almost 20,000 Stainless Needles and does a wonderful job of separating cotton seeds. Cotton is a cash crop of the Indian agriculture. Many farmers around the country sow cotton crop and hence quality of the cottonseed is most important.

Needle Sorter is one of the important machines in cotton seed processing. It separates the a Pin Holea seed and cut seed from the lot of averagely processed seeds. The removal of pin hole seeds and cut seeds enhance the quality of the processed seed.

Pin hole seed and cut seed form almost 5% to 7% quantity in the seed lot. The machine is also used for Okra seed cleaning. There are two models-
1) Needle Sorter IAE/NS/50/147- Capacity- 200 to 250 kg / hr. The round Drum cylinder is 14 feet long and 5 ft in dia. Operated by 2 HP AC Gear drive on 3 phase supply. It is with a feeding vertical bucket elevator.
2) Needle Sorter IAE/NS/50/107- Capacity-100 to 150 kg/hr. The round drum cylinder is 10.5 feet long and 3 ft in dia. Operated by 2 HP AC Gear Drive on 3 Phase supply. Material is feed in hopper manually by standing on a platform.
