Tapryl is a powdered base polymeric compound which appears as
a very fine salt like powder with a clear white colour. It belongs to the
family of cold styrene butadiene copolymer which gives a viscous liquid on
treatment with industrial solvents and various types of additives. It has
excellent thermal and water resistant properties which helps it to remain stable
at elevated temperatures. Tapryl has various advantages which offers easy
processing and compounding which results in good physical properties. The
particle size of powder is nearly equal to the 0.7 millimeters with a bound
styrene content in between 20 to 25 percent.
