General Constructions
Conductor : Annealed Tinned Copper. Solid (Class 1), Stranded (Class 2) or flexible (Class 5) conforming to IS 8130 -1984

Separator Tape : Separator tape of suitable material may be applied over the conductor

Insulation : General Service elastomer compound Type IE 1, Heat Resisting elastomer compound type IE 2, Silicone Rubber Type IE 5 of IS 6380 -1984

Core Identification : Coloured insulation, Numbered PEtape, Coloured proofed tapr or number printing

Fillers : Natural or synthetic fibers or elastomer suitable for the operating temperature and compatible and compatible with the insulating material

Sheath : General service sheath Type SE 1/SE 2 or Heavy Duty Sheath Type SE 3/SE 4 of IS 6380 -1984
