RF encoder is a serial encoder used in serial wireless data transfer. The ilabz RF encoder uses HT12E as the parallel to serial encoder chip. The board has RF encoder 4 bit male data connectors and power supply connectors. The board even has 8 bit dip switch to select the unique address for data transmission. The wireless transmission is enabled by ASK modulations. An RF transmitter module can be connected for wireless transmission. The data can be transmitted from microcontroller or any other digital circuits connected parallel to the data pins of HT12E provided on the board. Using the wireless module as explained earlier the data can be transmitted with ASK modulation at 432Mhz carrier frequency.
