Energywin - GPRS RTU is an ideal solution for factory automation, environmental monitoring and remote device management for M2M industry. This RTU works on public GSM/GPRS cellular network. This GSM/GPRS RTU enables various kinds of legacy devices with different communication port to communicate over GPRS network and the Internet easily and freely. It not only works as a GPRS Modem, but also can construct a smooth GPRS Data Tunnel between Host End and Remote End, ensuring an efficient communication for data transmission and remote device management, with selectable inputs like RS-232/TTL/RS485 serial port.

RTU acts as data transporter, it is connected with various communication ports like RS232 serial port, RS 485 port which are used for remotely collecting the data from various equipments then send to user and monitoring center. It can accept the users SMS commands then transport the commands to the interfaced peripherals directly. It can work with the Monitoring center, in the monitoring center; the owner / user can remotely monitor and control the remote terminal RTU by GSM Network. This is very useful to the application areas like street light control, wellhead control, BTS environment monitoring, power transmission system monitoring and other applications.
