These refrigerated dryers work on the technology of refrigeration, by cooling the air up to 3A c and resulting in decrease in moisture holding capacity of the air. This measure results in reduction of 50% in the moisture holding capacity of the air for every 11A c (20A f ) drop in temperature. The cooled air along with condensed moisture is passed along a moisture separator for removal of the condensed moisture. Employed with shell and tube heat exchanging technology, these refrigerated air dryers effectively work on the temperature differential that exists between the air and the refrigerant, which causes absorption of heat energy from the air and hence reduces the compressed air's temperature & contained moisture to condense.
