Sugar

Sugar also known as sucrose, is white crystalline substance, a carbohydrate, soluble in water. Sugar is a natural combination of fructose and glucose. It is a very stable product. DCP India has the ability and resources to procure the commodity locally, to compete on the world market. We export sugar conforming to international standards.

How is Sugar (sucrose) produced?

Due to favorable climate, lower wages and surplus Sugarcane, India has been able to expand their production over the years. Sugarcane requires a frost-free climate with sufficient rainfall during the growing season. Indian tropical climate is best suited to produce sugarcane. Sugarcane is crushed to get juice, it is further extracted by water or it is extracted by diffusion.

Scope of international Market

About 175 million tons of sugar is produced each year in 130 countries around the world. Out of these, Brazil is the largest producer followed by INDIA. U.S.A. and China are the largest importers of Sugar.

Grade

DCP India is exporting Refined Sugar-ICUMSA (International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis) 45. Other grades are available on request.

Sugar can be packed in any size of sachets and bags. Most popular size for export is 50Kg. PP bags.
