The card was designed and manufactured by MikroTik to the highest standards. it supports both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz Bands, it conforms to the highest international standards. Combine this with windows and the driver linked below you have can have the most secure wireless link available with FIPS Approved AES encrypted wireless links. What is more it is easily setup using the Atheros Client Utility for windows that is available with the hardware. R52 is optimized to work with MikroTik Nstreme protocol to reach extra long distances at a great speed. The Nstreme protocol is MikroTik proprietary wireless protocol created to overcome speed and distance limitations of IEEE 802.11 standards and to extend point-to point and point-to-multi point wireless link performance. Nstreme2 works with a pair of wireless cards one for transmitting data and one for receiving.
