CETEX ACRYLIC SEALER (AS) is a premium product that can be applied on variety of surfaces like concrete, stone, marble, wood for protection as well as improving the gloss and water resistance. It is concentrated water based emulsion of thermoplastic resin. It is diluted with water and applied by brush or spray. It is eco-friendly. It is used as water proof membrane, protection of surface, high gloss finish and premium base for paints.

MECHANISM
On application of diluted solution, it dries to form a protective film on the surface. The coupling agents present in the product prevents A AcA A A A peeling offA AcA A A A effect and makes the application long lasting. Moreover the film is reinforced with nanometer sized particles, which improves abrasion resistance.

ADVANTAGES
It is concentrated product. It has to be diluted with water at site before use.

It gives a long lasting glossy, wet look finish on the surface. It is UV resistant, and will not discolour.
Pigment can be added to diluted solution for paint application on various surfaces.

COVERAGE
CETEX AS is concentrated. It can be diluted 2 - 4 times with water depending on the application, porosity of surface and result required. Hence coverage of 1.0 kg of concentrated material will vary from 10 to 15 sq. meters per liter. However, field trials should be conducted to determine the optimum dilution and coverage to achieve the required result.

DIRECTION OF USE
~ All loose and damaged surfaces should be thoroughly rectified.
~ Surface should be free from dust, grease, coatings like curing compounds, etc.
~ Surface should be dried thoroughly before application.
~ It is advised to apply in two steps.
1. Primer coat - Dilute it with 3 - 4 times by volume (ratio 1:4) of water.
2. Final coat (after primer coat dries)- dilute with minimum 2-3 part of water for every one parts of AS (ratio 1:3)
~ In case of floor, light foot traffic can be started after 4 hours of drying of final coat.
~ After application the surface can be buffed for improving the gloss.
