Tube Dek media utilize individual, isolated tubuler channel, each sloped at 600 & 550 to expand the settling capacity of water and waste water clarifiers. Engineered with the individual tubes rising in the same direction to eliminate mixing currents and unstable flow patterns. Constructed of flame-resistant, self-extinguishing PVC that is also inert to naturally occurring constituent in water and water waste.

The shape and configuration of Tube Dek Media is engineered to create laminar flow for rapid setting of solids. This enhanced settling reduces chemical coagulant use and downstream filter backwash requirements. For plant design and upgrading less setting area is needed.

Tubedek Media increase the settling capacity of rectangular sedimentation basins by reducing the vertical distance a floc particle must settle before agglomerating to form larger particles. This provides for a particle settling depth that is significally less than the settling depth of a conventional clarifier, reducing settling times. Tube Settlers capture the settleable fine floc that escapes the clarification zone beneath the Tube Settlers and and allows the larger floc to travel to the tank bottom in a more settleable form. The Tube Settlers channel collect solids into a compact mass which promotes the solids to slide down the tube channel.
