A PTFE-PTFE envelope gasket is a gasket that is split or machined from the outside diameter wall to 1/16 of an inch from the inside diameter. Envelope gaskets can be supplied in slit/v-type or milled/square cut with or with out a filler.

Features:
* Pipe gaskets manufactured with a slit-type PTFE-PTFE envelope protective covering, which imparts the mechanical strength, resilience and bolt load retention of compressed sheet together with the chemical resistance of PFTE (PTFE).
* Maximum Service Temperature: 550 F, Used in equipment with glass-coated steel flanges.
* Available: in 1/16" or 1/8"
* Thickness with eight standard fillers: Compressed sheet, neoprene, EPDM, BUNA-N, silicone, Viton, Hypalon, and- when a higher pressure resistance is required-- corrugated stainless steel. Pipe sizes: 3/4" through 12" diameter.
* Additional Fillers: white neoprene, butyl, plant fiber, red rubber, CI rubber and gum rubber.
