Our pressure sand filters are precisely used for the removal of suspended solids & turbidity.These are extremely robust method of removing suspended solids from water.The filtration medium consists of multiple layer of sand having different sizes & specific gravity. We can offer sand filters in various sizes and material apart from hand operated or fully automatically.This water treatment plant is used to generate the required operating pressure in it.The raw water is passed through sand filter at a pressure of 3.5 kg / cm2 to reduce the suspended solids present in the raw water. Our filters have the ability of removing up to 30 to 50 micron of suspended solids to less then 5 ppm. The filter should be washed daily with raw water for 20 to 30 minutes. Moreover, the cartridge filter is used for the filtration of partials below 30 to 50 micron. Our pressure sand filters are being used for the following usage:
