Power Measurement Modules

The 3-phase Power Measurement Modules detect and process all relevant variables in a 3-phase supply network. The modules directly detect variables like reactive, apparent, and effective power, energy consumption, performance factor, phase angle, frequency, over- and undervoltage. This eliminates the need for external measuring equipment, reducing measurement costs nearly ten-fold. We have no compromise with the quality of of the product during the production and provide a durable product as per the needs by our customers.

In addition to energy consumption measurement and harmonic analysis, WAGO's Power Measurement Modules also feature additional functions for a comprehensive grid analysis, enabling the localization of grid disturbances, such as interference spikes. Insulation faults can also be detected using additional measurements in the neutral conductor. The 4-quadrant display provides information about the type of load and whether it is an energy consumer or producer. In order to transmit the measured values to an energy management system, the Power Measurement Module connects to a WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM fieldbus coupler or controller. Communication is provided via multiple fieldbus systems, like BACnet, KNX, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, ETHERNET or EtherNet/IP.
