Except for the overpressure disconnector, a thermostat is installed in the terminal block to keep safety and protect the capacitor. The capacitor will be turn off when the termperature is over the proset value and the capacitor will work again automatically after the temperature become normal.
When the overpressure disconnctor takes action, a signal from the controller will be sent out to shut the whole system off to avoid larger damage to the whole system in which several capacitors used together with the reactor for harmonic. Such damage may be caused by harmonic resonance because of the imbalance of the reactance rate when one of these capacitors gets broken.
