Basic model for solids and powder level sensing is capacitive switch. This is mostly used when the products are non sticky and free flowing. RF admittance type is recommended when material to be sensed is sticky and is having special characteristics.

Other types offered are Vibrating Fork Type, Paddle Type. These switches are offered when the material is free flowing and particle size below 10 mm.

When level is to be sensed by non contact way and the span is higher, ultrasonic level sensor is used. Radar type is used when the environment and applications are to much demanding.
