Polysorb - Sap For Liquid Waste Solidification

Our Polysorb - SAP for Liquid Waste Solidification is supplied as white powder. In contact with water the polymer hydrates and becomes a transparent gel. Each particle however remains separate and can absorb up to 400 times its weight of water resulting in a five hundred fold increase in particle size.

POLYSORB is widely used in applications concerning industrial waste management and environmental protection such as liquid waste solidification, radioactive waste containment, oil spill containment, paint solidifier, flood control, etc.

INDUSTRIAL LIQUID WASTE MANAGEMENT: SAP materials help in safe, effective, and economical liquid waste solidification and stabilization of hazardous, non-hazardous, and low-level radioactive waste. Given the capacity of SAP to retain substantial volumes of water there is limited increase in weight of the solidified mass, thereby minimizing transportation and disposal costs.

FLOOD CONTROL: SAP filled self-inflating bags are more effective, easier to deploy and much more compact to store and distribute than traditional sand bags for sudden flood control. On-site testing has proved that the self inflating bags are NINE times faster then traditional sandbags in controlling flood. They are used to embank rivers, lakes to control flood; subways, underground parking; roads, high ways, bridges, construction areas, grounds, oil fields, coal mines, trenches, playing fields, golf courses etc.
