These polypropylene AC capacitors are used for power electronic applications especially where the waveform is non-sinusoidal and high frequency currents are present. These are considered ideal for power conversion equipment, rectifiers for railway tractions, constant voltage transformers and tank circuit applications. These are non-inductively wound Polypropylene capacitors with self healing properties and vacuum impregnated. Polypropylene AC Capacitor (MKP-71) comes with radial leads with snap on terminals, oil filled and Aluminum encased for heat dissipation.
