The function of label applicator is to apply the label to the product. Different products, production situation and labels require a variety of applicator techniques. Choice of applicator is the determining factor in meeting specific production and label placement requirements. All applicators are quickly interchangeable on any of the labelling Heads.
Description:
The Pneu - VAC Air Cylinder Application is the most versatile and accurate of all applicators. The label is projected on to a customsized impressor pad and held there by vacuum. An air activated plunger extends the pad to apply the label to the product, which can be either stationery or in motion. Where product handling system can also be supplied by PRISMTECH at rates up- to 15 per minute. It solves exceptionally precise or difficult label placement problems and is ideal where the label must go into a recess or difficult-to-reach area. Placement accuracy is as close as 1mm (+/-)
