AIR SLIDES : i Our air slides are used for pneumatic conveyance of powdered materials such as raw meal and cement. The Fluxoslide con-sists of a rectangular duct with two compartments separated by means of a poly-ester diaphragm. Air under pressure is applied to the lower compartment normally by a fan. The permeability of the dia-phragm is 1.5 m 3/m2 min. The pressure drop being 100 mm water column. The aerated material flows like a liquid at a suitable inclination of the conveyor (4 Deg.-15 Deg.) depending on the type of material conveyed.
