A pizza tripod is made of plastic and has three legs. They are often white and the common practice is to place one pizza tripod in the center of the pizza before the box lid is closed for delivery.

This pizza tripod invention goal was to act as a moderator between the box top and the pizza by stabilizing the space between the two.
