Product Features:
In a Rod Mill, the pinch roll is used for moving the material further when bar has left the mill stand.
The main housing of Pinch roll is made from Cast iron, and fitted with EN - 9 rolls with spherical roller bearing housed in steel chocks. The tap roll setting device consists of screw down screw of EN - 8 with gun metal nut. The top roll is also spring loaded with helical spring for balancing.
Gear box: The main body is fabricated from M.S.plate. The gears of EN-9 steel fitted on two shaft of EN-8 steel run on antifriction bearings. The gears and the bearings run in oil bath and provide adequate lubrication at all times.
