Our trading firm offers high quality Phenolic Laminates to our clients. These Phenolic Laminated Sheets (IS 2036 : 1995) are made after placing different layers of paper impregnated with a thermosetting phenolic resin and then are processed together under heat and pressure. These Laminated Sheets are currently being produced in two types, in sizes of 8' x 4' and thickness from 0.8 mm. to 25.0 mm.
Here are some of the salient features of these sheets:
* The mechanical properties of these sheets are better than other types. But these sheets have poor electrical properties under normal humidity
* These sheets have high voltage application in case of power frequencies. The sheets are efficient enough to have electric strength under oil, air and normal humidity as well.
