The Pressure Flow Control Metering Device (PFCMD) from Bermad, integrates a vertical turbine Woltman-Type water meter with a diaphragm actuated hydraulic control valve equipped with one, two or more pilots. The PFCMD automatically performs one, two or more independent functions, such as sustaining a preset minimal upstream pressure, maintaining the level in elevated reservoirs or sustaining maximum set flow. All functions are performed irrespective of change in upstream pressure and / or demand. Functions can easily be added or removed in a modular way. The meter accuracy is independent and not affected by the action of the valve. An adjusting screw on each pilot allows setting of the desired set-point for pressure, level and flow. The valve is compatible with SCADA.
