The parking attendant at the entry records entry of vehicle with date time stamp on a Parking Tag, just by touching the parking tag to the handheld Recorder. The tag is given to the vehicle owner against predefined amount. Vehicle owner returns the tag to the parking attendant at the exit. The attendant records the exit time just by touching the parking Tag to the handheld recorder. Recorder displays total time for which vehicle was parked. Depending on the predefined rules of the parking space, the attendant can refund, or charge an extra amount. All transactions are recorded with date & time stamp in the handheld recorder. At the end of the day, the data in the handheld recorder is transferred to PC.
