Each pantograph poles consists of four arms & at the end of arm silver plated copper contacts are fixed that makes contact with the trapeze (fixed hanging contact) which is also silver plated.
The current transfer takes place from the trapeze to the bottom aluminum housing through four arms and number of silver plated bronze ball contacts that are housed in grease packed bronze housing. Disc springs are provided to maintain the contact pressure on the bronze balls against the bronze castings.
The complete assembly is factory fitted and no adjustments are required at site.
