Four Edge Knives : The slightly inclined travel of the ram allowing the use of four edge rectangular knives, gives a clean square cut. The small tilt of the upper knife inside the ram allow knife clearance to be adjusted to finer limits. The knives are made of high grade shock resisting steel, giving a long knife life and require fewer regrinds. The knife clearance can be easily set to desired value by moving the table with the lower knife.

Hydaulic Hold-down System : A seprate hydraulic power pack is provided for the hold-down system. The hold-down system is interlocked to the main drive. The shearing stroke starts only after the hold-down grips the sheets firmly. The hold-down system maintains a positive pressure along the full length of the work piece preventing slippage, regardless of the thickness variations.
