Oxygen Tablets
O2 Tablets are oxygen-releasing tablets formulated to enhance water quality and oxygen presence in aquaculture, fish tanks, and aquariums. The tablets gradually dissolve and release an oxygen compound during the process, enhancing the aquatic environment by increasing oxygen for aquatic life, thus preventing suffocation. O2 Tablets are non-polluting and easy to use, providing a means for fish during a power outage, long-periods of transportation of fish, or when the aeration system goes down; O2 Tablets are highly effective for relieving stress and attaining higher health levels in aquatic animals.

O2 is a combination of ofloxacin and ornidazole. Ofloxacin is second generation antibiotic which inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme, interfering in the synthesis of DNA in the bacteria and shows bactericidal action. Ornidazole is a newer nitroimidazoles with superior efficacy and longer duration of action. It kills susceptible microorganisms by interfering with DNA functioning. Hence combination of these two drugs shown higher efficacy, broad antimicrobial spectrum, least incidence of side effects and both are well tolerated.
