Non Clog Flood Proof Pump Sets

The pump is a non clog volute casing, capable to suit both vertical & horizontal installations to suit existing piping system of earlier HNC / VNC pump sets. Single stage pump is close coupled to an amphibious motor. The impeller is mounted directly onto the extended motor shaft.

The motor is of Dry Type with Class i? Hi? insulation & of IP68 enclosure to ensure flood proof / amphibious operation i? it can easily withstand up to 10m submergence.
The common shaft is supported in Greased for Life Ball /Roller bearings with L10 life of minimum 75,000 hours.

Jacket Cooled Motor i? i.e. a cooling fluid operating in the jacket efficiently cools the motor irrespective of motor submergence. This Jacketing System is Integral to pump set design, close circuit & Self Contained. It does not use any external cooling liquid / auxiliary pumps / heat exchanger hence simplifying maintenance & improving reliability. Pressure tight Jacket ensures no leakage from the pump set hence keeping the dry pit dry.

The entry of pumped liquid into the motor is restricted by Two Mechanical Seals mounted in Tandem arrangement. The lower mechanical seal is to Silicon Carbide v/s Silicon Carbide for longer wear life. Zero leakage into the dry pit.

* An intermediate Oil Chamber lubricates & cools the seals.
* The cable entry is water tight & prevents ingress of water into the windings in case of flooding.
* The pump set is of Back Pull out construction to aid maintenance.
