In March 2020, and as a direct result of the growing global threat of the COVID 19 virus pandemic, Roluta INT recognised that many international organisations would need to increase their ability to purchase Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their own health care clients. Roluta INT realised that many international companies had no representation in Malaysia with regards to the purchase of locally manufactured nitrile gloves, Malaysia having historically been one of the primary global suppliers of such PPE. As a result of its local knowledge and experience, Roluta INT decided to establish a bespoke service for international buyers to help them navigate the pitfalls and complications of doing business in unfamiliar territory. This included the creation of its own panel of nitrile glove manufacturers and distributors based in greater Kuala Lumpur and beyond, in States from Selangor & Negeri Sembilan to Perak & Pahang. Making a point of meeting face-to- face with representatives from each factory and glove distributor, Roluta INT is able to advise on glove procurement contracts for foreign buyers who currently have no local representation, acting as an appointed Malaysian based Authorised Intermediary to help secure best pricing whilst overseeing the manufacturing and logistics processes required to bring each deal to a logical and acceptable conclusion.
