How it is works :
The cuff is wrapped around the upper arm and inflated to stop blood flow in the artery. As the cuff deflates a doctor listens to the blood pumping through the artery with a stethoscope. The first pumping sound is the systolic pressure and the last is the diastolic pressure.
Size
The cuff should be 80% of the arm's circumference in length and at least 40% of the arm's circumference in width.
