Neoprene Mounts - Oil Resistant, 8mm Minimum Static Deflection | Encapsulated Metal Reinforcement, Skid Resistant Design, Easy Installation

One piece molded neoprene mounts with encapsulated metal reinforcement on the top and bottom provides corrosion protection and the friction pads on the top and bottom avoids the need of bolting to the floors. The minimum static deflection of these mountings is 8mm. As per the situations required the bolt holes provided can be used.

MOUNTING:

Since for these rubber mountings the deflections are relatively minor we recommend these mounts only for minor equipments or installation at basement.

DESIGN CONDITIONS:

With low cost, effectiveness in a wide band of frequencies and the ease of application, natural or synthetic and molded in a wide variety of shapes and sizes with or without metallic inserts depending on the services are most widely used for vibration control.

When high static deflection and simple installations are required these mounts can be used (with or without bolting either to the equipment base or to the floor) at very low cost. These mounts can be used upside down with rectangular base up, as the case requires. These single piece molded mounts are having skid resistant rubber ridged round top and rectangular base and it provides corrosion protection in severe corrosive conditions. Oil resistant neoprene mountings are supplied as standard but for special application natural rubber may be used. The rubber is loaded in both shear and compression to provide the desirable straight-line rubber-in shear deflection curves as well as overload protection.
